within the given time? take all the time you need! i need them before friday is all. i have some guesses as to the answers : For a. Do you think the cohesion and adhesion of water in the transport xylem if the stems still happens when the plant is dead?

For b is it so the plants doesn’t waste resources on leaves that are not going to yield enough sugars?

For c I know the one you cut off at the base will last longer

For d I’m not sure. Actin stimulates plant growth.

For e, maybe putting it near a window and having it grow sideways towards the light?

No idea about f and g

For H obviously the corn roots news less water and more access to air

For I maybe it needs more sunlight?

For J the roots need more air and less water as well

For K the C3 plant would wastefully fix oxygen instead of CO2 by rubisco as the concentration went up. It would stop before the C4 plant did.

1. Normally Cutting of most of the leaf blades along with cutting branches(purning) reduces the size of the above-ground portion of the plant in relation to the root system
2. As a result, the now root system can serve better
3. The relative uptake of water and nutrients by the remaining shoots and buds increases, and a flush of growth (regrowth) will occurs

When one of the  bouquet was taken out and by  keeping lower end of it  in water to prevent entry of any air bubble.cut  near about 5 cm.

This way xylem vessels comes in direct contact with water due this cut thus will survive long
