11. E) Pitting Edema
Edema is swelling caused by accumulation or built-up of fluid in the body tissue. A residual indentation left by pressure on the site of the swelling indicates pitting edema.
Here, as we clinically examine the patient, we find that the indentation persists even after the removal of the pressure. Hence it is called Pitting Edema.
It can have various clinical implications like CHF, Liver disease, chronic kidney disease, DVT etc.
13) A. Tachycardia
Tachycardia is a condition that makes your heart beat more than 100 times per minute.
Note: Bradycardia is decreased heart beat below 60 BPM.
