Answer #1

Answer-Large scale confirmational change is common in the catalytic cycles of enzymes. Many enzymes functions as homodimers with active site from both the chains.Symmetric and asymmetric cooperative motions in homodimers lead to the opening /closing likely to be valuable for ligand binding and release. Example-citrate synthase catalyses the introduction of carbon into the citric acid cycle through condensation of acetyl-coA with oxaloacetate to form citrate .
