I did the litmus milk test for my microbiology lab. My results came back as a no color change in the litmus milk sample, but when my sample was tilted it did shift. What are my results from this experiment? my sample is sample d. I'm trying to write a lab report, but I don't know what to write. I can't redo this experiment.

✓Litmus milk test is a test to differentiate bacteria on the basis of their metabolism.
✓Milk is just like a medium for the various microbes.
What contents does litmus milk have ?
* Lactose(milk sugar for bacteria that is for fermentation.)
*Litmus (pH indicators)
* Casein and other proteins lactoglobin
Now various bacteria in each sample do fermentation and produce acid condition and as a consequence, casein and other milk proteins they get solidified.
:-->> What to write:--
As we know that, on performing this result here, we are about to get some observations like given above :--
1. Pink colour means lactose has been fermented by bacteria and it's acidic so litmus will show pinkish colour. And casein is solidified at bottom.
2. Bluish means basic and lactose has not been fermented.
3. White means litmus has been reduced and became clear.
4. Yellow brownish colour indicates about being broken down of protein Casein.

WRITING A BIOLOGY LAB REPORT I dont get what Im suppose to write in the results section of a lab report THAT IM WRITING BASED ON an already done laboratory experiment by other students. Do I include my research findings or just include the data of the experiment and make my own conclusions??? or is that for the discussion section. IM CONFUSED!! Then what am I suppose to write on both discussion and results section?!!
I did an experiment in my chemistry lab in which the goal was to determine the density of water using mass and observed volume. I have to report an absolute uncertainty but I am confused. If thermometer had an absolute uncertainty of +1, had increments of 1 degree, and I measured the temp to be 19.5 because you can still estimate to the 100ths place, can I report my data as 19.5 +/ 1 or does it have to be...
we were given an unknown bacteria to work with at lab. the
results came and its written in the second observation. based on
that observation i got to know that my unknown bacteria was
Enterobacter aerogenes. so based on my second observation ive
written, im to answer the last two columns( conclusion and
comments)
Gram Negative Conclusion What does be your test result Comments List all possible organisms that match your Biochemical test and gram staining Theoretical Positive Second Observation...

Write a description of the reaction, what did the litmus tests reveal? Write a balanced equation for the oxidation of magnesium in air. Comment on the relative oxidizing strengths of the three acids in the test tubes. eactions. On a separate sheet...
I did some thin layer chromatography in lab and im not sure if my results look the way they should. The left spot was aldehyde mixed with about 5 drops of ethanol and the right spot was salicylaldehyde phenylhydrazone mixed with about 5 drops of ethanol, with the cospot obviously being both. We ran it in 5 to 1 ethyl acetate. Could you draw out what the tlc plate SHOULD look like under the UV light, i.e., where the spots...
INTERPRETING THE REAL LIFE STORY: Shondra’s Experience I was surprised at my results of the body composition assessments we did in our lab. The BMI calculation told me I was at a healthy weight (about 24). But when we did the skinfold test, I found out that I was almost 29 percent body fat, which is considered overweight. I talked about it with my instructor and I told her that for the first two years after starting college I had...
Organic Chemistry Lab question In the experiment we did acid-base extractions to find impurities. The impurity was either benzoic acid (acid) or 4-chloroaniline (base) So in this experiment we did Acid-Base extraction with an unknown compound. So we had an unknown of 0.150 grams and mixed it with 20 mL of diethyl ether. We placed this in a separatory funnel and added 2mL of 1.0 NaOH solution to the separatory funnel and placed the stopper over the top of the...
This is a Biology lab about cellular respiration using
mitochondrial suspension. Here's what my hypothesis is: An
increased amount of the substrate succinate will increase the rate
of cellular respiration.
I was sure that succinate would increase the rate of the
reaction. But that was not what my graph showed. Here is what was
put into each cuvette
