I am using js and php. Why is it not redirecting to the url?

To redirect user from php without using javascript, you use the following code:

header( 'Location: http://www.yoursite.com/new_page.html' );

If you want to achieve saame using javascript embedded in php, you can use below code:

window.location.href = 'http://www.example.com'
