The IDE is warning you that the the Scanner object that was created should be closed in order to avoid a resource (memory) leak.

Close the keyboard right after hrs = getIntInput("Invalid Entry!\nTry Again\n\nPlease enter hours: ");
Use the statement keyboard.close();
