Here we will be employing Newton's second law of motion, i.e. Force, F = mass x acceleration

For the given problem, we will use above law.

F = m x a = m x g

Mass(m) will be canceled out on both sides and we get

Acceleration (a) = g (acceleration due to gravity)

So, for falling object, mass do not make any change or we can say it is independent of mass. So both object will reach at the same time.
