Answer #1

New Variable cost per walk= 8.5 + 0.85 = $9.35 per walk

Answer 5

Profit = Revenue - Cost

Lets 'z' be the number of walks needed to reach $1000/month profit

Then , 1000 =  15*z - (350 + (9.35*z) = 5.65z - 350
=> z = (1000-350 )/5.65 = 115.04 or 115 walks (per month) needed to reach $1000/month profit

Answer 6

For the same number of walks, if H&S want ot increase their profit to $2000, then let 'p' pe the new selling price
Profit = Revenue - Cost
=> 2000 = p*115.04 - (350 + (9.35*115.04) = p*115.04 - 1425.62
=> p = 3425.62/115.04 = $29.78
The new price would be $29.78 per walk
