Question

Assume that you have diodes which conduct 1.0mA at 0.75V. Design a circuit which utilizes four diodes in series, in series with a resistor that is connected to a 15V power supply. The voltage drop across the resistor should be 11.7V. What is the resistor value (Use VT = 25.9mV)? Using the same diodes as problem , assume that you want the current through the diodes to be 5mA. Determine the value of the resistor that will allow that.
