Besides the base role of human resource which is to serve and maintain harmony between a company and the people who work there, there are also other roles which HR managers play such as creating a competitive advantage with the help of its management policies. HR professionals take great responsibility to improve the productivity of an organization as well as it's sales. This makes an organization ahead of competitors. Besides, HR professionals also hire new and talented candidates who help an organization to achieve its competitive position.

There are many criteria to judge the strategic impact of human resources but the most common one is brainstorming. It determines organizational effectiveness such as profitability, market share, etc. Due to the strategic impact, human resource professionals are now considered as C-level employees.
