Answer #1

Setting goals is not about the accomplishment itself. Goals provide clarity. With clear clarity, we have clear vision and taking proper action is easier. Goals are tools helping us to navigate during unclear situations. When faced with obstacles, goals help us to make choices. When a goal is in place, the standard has been set and destination is clear. When you know what you want in your personal and professional life, taking first step is less-hard. Every step along the journey is a part of the process. When daily action toward defined objectives happen, everything about your life improves. Goals help us become better, stronger versions of ourselves.

A plan is critical to your ability to follow through and reach your goals. A goal has to have the following format.

Specific - Clear goals which is not overly general or broad.

Measurable - One must be able to track the progress.

Attainable- Know your limits and work within them.

Real - The only goals that are achieved are realistic ones.

Time- If you don't set a time limit for your goals, then you could be working to achieve it forever.
