so, standard deviation = sqrt{variance} = sqrt{4}= 2..........................sqrt means square root function

we have to find probability of cases between 86 and 93

using normalcdf(lower bound, upper bound, mean, standard deviation)

setting lower bound = 86, upper bound = 93, mean = 87 and stnadard deviation =2

we get

= normalcdf(86,93,87,2)

= 0.6901

or 0.6901*100 = 69.01%

So, 69.01% of cases of are likely to be between 86 and 93
