Question

I was able to figure it out one way. I used a Cylindrical coordinate system and first integrated from 0 to length S.Then from 0->2pi. Took s to a point where it was much, much bigger than R, and found it all worked out. I'm not sure what the other two ways were.

We were told to just set up the integral and that using Wolfram Alpha was okay. I'm just not sure where to go from here. We've also discussed fundamental theorem of gradient and curl but I don't know if that will help you here. Any help would be appreciated.

I am confused here Suppose a baseball player throws a ball. So I'm a little bit confused by this force table lab I did recently, where the professor wants there to be a scaled drawing of all of the vectors involved. In the experiment we used three different vectors: A, B, and C. After Coming up with the sub-components for each of those, we were then required to get the resultant vector as well as the anti-resultant. I really would appreciate some graphical breakdown of this.. Because I'm a little lost...

we've learned about the asteroid impact that occurred at the end of the Cretaceous period of Earth history, which led to the extinction of the dinosaurs. It created a crater called the Chicxulub crater, and temporarily altered the Earth's atmosphere, climate, and oceans so much that it caused a mass extinction. (You might also find it helpful to look at this geologic time scale because it shows when the Cretaceous, Tertiary, Permian, and Triassic portions of the geologic time scale...
