Rodin argues that appeal to the right of self-defense cannot be used to justify preventative wars. Do you agree? Briefly explain your position.

Preventive war is a military action taken to stop a belligerent state from squaring the capacity for attacking. Rodin disapproves of this type of war until there is a direct effect. He doesn't consider self-defense enough reason to initiate this war. He believes propose that preventive wars under a consequentialist ground cant be justifiable as we can't sure about the consequences.

Here I do agree with Rodin and agree that consequentialist ground man invites a war which is based on an uncertain thereat. We can't deny that war has its consequences. Hence we cant invite the war which is unpredictable because the cost of the war is always unprecedented. Consequsntalist ground never can guarantee that killing someone is the right moral choice.
