The Scenario:

You previously created a point-of-sale system for a beach side restaurant, or if your instructor told you to, perhaps another business that needed a point-of-sale system.  In this assignment you’re being asked to extend that assignment because printing a receipt only to the screen isn’t going to do the trick if your customer is an individual that likes to take their receipts with them to compare against their credit card statement each month.

Behaviors of your Application

1. Your application will continue to operate as it has previously

2. You will now read your menu data from a file and load it into whichever structure you originally used

1. This will presumably be a CSV file

3. You will modify the application to give customers three options that they will be prompted for:

1. The first option will only print the receipt to the screen

2. The second option will only print the receipt to a file

3. The third option will print the customer’s receipt to the screen and to a file

4. Because the code for either operation has the potential to be used multiple times, you will implement this capability using one or more functions:

1. By saying one or more, you have the option for two separate functions, where you print the receipt to the screen for one and write it to the file in another

2. You could use a single function with a conditional and pass a parameter to first print to the screen and another parameter to indicate you wish to print to a file

3. Any other creative way you can think of so that your code is not redundant
