Lead: A potential customer (lead) can come to the website via many modes like clicking on Google ads, through Google search engine, from links on blogs, from FB or Instagram page of the company, from FB advertisement or from other websites. The lead gets generated via offline modes also if he or she has heard from some friend about the website or from newspaper or magazine article.
2. Prospect: Lead becomes a Prospect when he has gone through the website and has shown interest in a particular product by clicking on the product and has spent time on the page understanding the product and its terms and conditions like delivery time and color and size choices.
3. Qualified prospect: Prospect becomes a qualified prospect when the the prospect has gone through the product in detail and has looked at the reviews to satisfy any doubts he might have and has posed online question to the chat bot to further assuage any queries he might have.
4. Committed: A qualified prospect becomes Committed when he presses the buy button to put the product in his online cart .
5. Transacted: The Committed customer has completed the transaction online when he chooses the payment option and makes the payment as per the desired payment option.
