Given data is a= [3,7,2,4,8,4,1,3]

c. The mean of a is:

a-bar=(3+7+2+4+8+4+1+3)/8

=32/8

a-bar=4

The average value indicates that the center of the data is 4, around which the observations are spread.

If these numbers represented the rolls of a 10 sided dice, then on an average we get 4 on the upper face.
