Ans.) The voluntary muscle movement is the movement which is carried out by individual’s own will. Cerebellum present at the infratentorial part of the brain, mainly responsible for coordination of voluntary muscle movements and to keep posture, balance and equilibrium of our body.

During the practice of piano one has to sit for long hours in one sitting. So, one has to improve the learning and sitting technique in two ways; the first one is the continuous practice by learning the notes and motions which eventually results in instant improvement. The second way of improvement is known as post practice improvement (PPI) which is due to alteration in physiology when you get hold of new technique. This is a slow procedure of alteration which takes place because it needs the growth and development of nerve and muscle cells.

When piano is practices for longer time period, it affects the actual growth of brain, nerve, muscle cells and transformation of slow to fast muscle cell types.
