Committing of sexual misconduct is more of a psychological weakness than it has got anything much to do with power. If the mentality of a person is sick, then such weaknesses arises. It is the disgusting mindset of such people that is responsible for the sexual misconduct. However, if it is still to be related to the powerful men in leadership positions, then the fact that these emotions could be otherwise latent in nature, now gets a boost, owing to the powerful position that the men assume in the Office, could be itself a reason for such a heinous crime. Such men are in the belief that the victims may not raise their voice owing to the defamation concerns, especially if the victim hails from the women fraternity. Further, the powerful position of these men also suppress the actionable charges against them or may warn the victims to cease their chance of success in the career, if they blow the whistle. Power here, is abused by the men and therefore, they are in the belief that committing sexual misconduct could be tolerable in the system as they shall be able to dominate the ones who attempt to raise a voice against them.
