What is my biceps muscle (an elbow flexor) doing as I A contracting eccentrically B relaxing contracting concentrically D contracting isometrically 48. The force generated during a tetanic contraction is larger than that during a single muscle twitch. Why? (1 point) increased cross-sectional area of the muscle fiber B) faster cross-bridge cycling Q more forceful pivoting of the myosin heads increased Ca++ in the cytoplasm E increase overlap between thick and thin filaments 49. Which of the following is the least trainable? (1 point) A) muscle diameter in type II muscle fibers B) capillarization increased aerobic capacity (mitochondrial density) increased motor unit recruitment the transition from type II to type I muscle fibers 50. Which of the following concerning muscle fiber type is TRUE? (1 point) A Type I fibers have more endurance because they B Type II fibers generate more specific tension express a myosin that hydrolyzes ATP very quickly because they express a myosin that generates a larger force when pulling on the thin filament because they express much more contractile protein express a myosin that rapidly hydrolyzes ATP longer C Type I fibers generate more specific tension E Type I fibers have more endurance because they are

Answer #1

Ans 47. Flexor muscles are muscles that decrease the angle between two sides of a joint as in bending of knee or elbow. This muscle contraction bends a limb or other parts of tha body. It is present in hands, legs, arm or foot.

When biceps muscle extends from a flexed position to extended position, the biceps muscle will be relaxing in this.

So, the coreect option will be option B.
