Answer #2

SOLUTION :

Only one question is answered as per rule of Chegg’s :

Q3.

3 turns in 24 sec.

=> 1 turn in 8 sec.

Distance covered in 1 turn in 8 sec. = 2 * pi * r  = 2 * pi * 12 = 75.4 m

So,

Bird’s speed = distance/time = 75.4/8 = 9.4248 = 9.42 m/s (ANSWER).

Centripetal acceleration magnitude = v^2/r = (9.4248)^2/12 = 7.40 m/s^2 (ANSWER).
