sodium and calcium :- they both are strong metals so they don't form ionic bonds because ionic bonds are formed between a metal and a non metal .

sulphur and sodium :- sulphur is a divalent non metal and sodium is a monovalent metal ,hence they form ionic bond ( Na2S )

barium and fluorine :- barium being an divalent metal and fluorine being an monovalent non metal hence they form ionic bond ( BaF2)

iodine and sulphur :- they both are non metals ,so they don't form ionic bonds between them
