Answer #1

2. Electrons are lost

Oxidation is the process of removal of electrons Where are reduction is the process of gain of electrons.

Oxidation leads to the addition of oxygen atoms in some cases and reduction leads to the the removal of oxygen atoms in some cases.

3. True

Oxidation is spontaneous in the cell because it occurs on its own. It is because of the presence of oxygen in the external environment which can enter the cell easily and oxidized various compounds present in it.

4. Methane

Methane will be the most reduced form because carbon dioxide, glucose and ethanol, all these three have at least one oxygen atom whereas Methane has only 4 hydrogen atoms attached to a central carbon.

5. Last options

Photosynthesis is the process of formation of glucose in the presence of Sunlight and chlorophyll molecules. It is divided into two phases. The first phase is the light reaction phase in which solar energy is harvested and leads to the formation of ATP and NADPH. The second phase is the dark reaction in which ATP and NADPH are used to synthesise glucose from atmospheric carbon dioxide.
