• Advanced Analytics : Advanced Analytics can be used in Supply chain for proactive decision making. Analytics can be used in supply chain planning, sourcing, logistics and transportation for better decision making. Decisions whcih were previously based on manual judgement are now powered with analytics and thus is much better and improved.
• Blockchain : Certain advanced supply chain functions such as traceability, smart contract and authentication are being regulated by blockchain technology.
• RFID Technology : Radio Frequency Identification Device technology is being used for giving real time status of the product tracking and for retrieving the information about the product. Thus the modern world would see tracking devices being fit with RFID and thus the real time inventory status and product tracking can be obtained.
• Robotics, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality : Drones are being used in supply chain delivery process. Augmented and Virtual Reality enable supply chain business to enhance employee and customer digital experiences through advanced technology.
