Differences between an employee and independent contractor

- Independent worker and employees both been paid wages by the employers but independent get the privilege to work for the employers and employers can relieve them anytime without giving any notice.

- Employees are covered by different state and federal laws while independent do not have same benefits

- Employees needs to report state and federal government for unemployment insurance while independent worker do not have such facilities.

- Employees required to paid hourly or given salary while independent worker are paid when job is done at specific date.
