Conflicts are very common in the workplace, though it's not a good thing for the organization. As it can create negativity and that impacts the atmosphere of the workplace, and eventually the output of the employees. In the workplace, many things can cause conflicts, some of them are diversity, background, personality, perceptions, and culture. These are few of the reasons which cause conflict, and it’s the responsibility of the managers and the management to cater these different issues and versatility among the employees in such a way that minimize the chances of having any kind of conflict. From the outset, first management must effectively execute change. Management should also expect resistance to change through changes being prepared, managed, and strengthened. The root causes of resistance will need to be identified by management. Approaching structural change and engaging senior and front-line management cans help with the transition. Communicating the need for change to employees will also have a smoother effect. Managers can also help break down organizational change by encouraging employees to be involved in the changes. Managers will ask staff for ideas to be accepted or rejected in order to avoid unnecessary errors. Employees will recognize their reliance on workplace contributions and the company's overall operations.
