I need my program to print out execution time it took to compile, and show before quicksort and after. Heres my program so far. Its in python.

def quickSortHelper(alist,first,last):
if first<last:
splitpoint = partition(alist,first,last)
quickSortHelper(alist,first,splitpoint-1)
quickSortHelper(alist,splitpoint+1,last)
def partition(alist,first,last):
pivotvalue = alist[first]
leftmark = first+1
rightmark = last
done = False
while not done:
while leftmark <= rightmark and alist[leftmark] <=
pivotvalue:
leftmark = leftmark + 1
while alist[rightmark] >= pivotvalue and rightmark >=
leftmark:
rightmark = rightmark -1
if rightmark < leftmark:
done = True
else:

Using the code below, we need to implement the median-of-three method for selecting a pivot. If it is possible to add the code needed and any pseudo code as comments, that would be helpful. Thank you Code: def quickSort(alist): quickSortHelper(alist,0,len(alist)-1) def quickSortHelper(alist,first,last): if first<last: splitpoint = partition(alist,first,last) quickSortHelper(alist,first,splitpoint-1) quickSortHelper(alist,splitpoint+1,last) def partition(alist,first,last): pivotvalue = alist[first] leftmark = first+1 rightmark = last done = False while not done: while leftmark <= rightmark and \ alist[leftmark] <= pivotvalue: leftmark = leftmark + 1...
My module page is correct but I don't believe I am using the main() function properly. One of my .py files is supposed to contain my definitions, which is the module file. My second .py file is supposed to properly call a main function that does what my program asks it to: First name, last name, age, and respond based off of input. For some reason I am struggling with using the main() function so that my program works. Any...
Python - Recursive to non-recursive quick sort. What I have at the moment is a recursive quick sort, I need to make it non-recursive, any help is appreciated! def quickSort(list): quickSortHelper(list, 0, len(list) - 1) def quickSortHelper(list, first, last): if last > first: pivotIndex = partition(list, first, last) quickSortHelper(list, first, pivotIndex - 1) quickSortHelper(list, pivotIndex + 1, last) # Partition list[first..last] def partition(list, first, last): pivot = list[first] # Choose the first element as...
For my computer class I have to create a program that deals with
making and searching tweets. I am done with the program but keep
getting the error below when I try the first option in the shell.
Can someone please explain this error and show me how to fix it in
my code below? Thanks!

I'm making a To-Do list in Python 2 and had the program running
before remembering that my professor wants me to put everything in
procedures. I can't seem to get it to work the way I have it now
and I can't figure it out. I commented out the lines that was
originally in the working program and added procedures to the top.
I've attached a screenshot of the error & pasted the code
below.

I need to write a program based on two finished programs (listm.py and setunion.py) to implement the intersection operation between two sets of list. The program should not use the Python built-in list and set related functions and operations. I'm sorry about the program format is wrong(no "TAB" space), here is the same question I posted 2 days ago, but the question title is incorrect, there have complete images of my 3 Python program. The link is: https://www.chegg.com/homework-help/questions-and-answers/need-write-program-based-two-finished-programs-listmpy-setunionpy-implement-intersection-o-q44800953?trackid=uNY0ilRc Thank you!...
Need help with Python (BinarySearch), code will be below after my statements. Thank you. Have to "Add a counter to report how many searches have been done for each item searched for." Have to follow this: 1) you'll create a counter variable within the function definition, say after "the top = len(myList)-1" line and initialize it to zero. 2) Then within the while loop, say after the "middle = (bottom+top)//2" line, you'll start counting with "counter += 1" and 3)...
I want to replace true with the number of comparisons that were made. For example, if I have a list of [1,4,5,6,7,8] and I ask the program to find 6. is it possible to tell me how many comparisons it took to find 6? PYTHON here is my code: def linear_search(vals,target): for val in vals: if val == target: return True return -1 def binary_search(vals,target): lo = 0 hi = len(vals)-1 mid(lo+hi)//2 while lo <= hi and vals [mid]!=target: if target...
