Take a moment to reflect on The Choice of eating alone in a restaurant and discuss how both individual and societal factors influence your decision making and how these decisions can be understood using a sociological concepts.

In society individual needs and the fulfilment of the individual needs are the main factors. When individual needs are fulfilled then there the individual effort appears to the needs of the group. According to Maslow, man bears some demands. Love and friendship are most important psychological demand of man. Man lives with relationship. They bear social and psychological needs and these needs are provided with relationship.

Generally we go to the restaurant with friends and family members and enjoy the outing. But when a person goes alone there it proves that his social contact is very poor. He does not have good relationship with family members. Many assumptions become obvious there. He may be selfish and therefore goes restaurant alone. Or, his social and personal contacts are very poor. He does not have any other world beyond his personal world. It may also happen that the individual may suffer from the social adjustment disorders.
