Yes, there is no doubt in the fact that the mission statement structured by the organization of any level impacts the CSR i.e. corporate social responsibility and the corporate level strategy because the tasks done to achieve the mission would have an impact on social responsibility. If the organization’s mission is to make notebooks and sell across US then it has to use more trees and wood but the social responsibility would not allow it to cut trees and hence there would be a clash, so the mission also should be structured that it does not affect the social responsibility. Also, the social responsibility and the corporate strategy can clash and create conflicts because the corporate level strategy would aim at earning better revenues whereas the social responsibility would aim at ensuring the environment is not affected.
