Answer #1

Protists are known to show great variation  in organization. While some are single-celled , some are  syncytial (coenocytic) while others are multicellular. The protists may be multicellular but are never multitissued. They may appear in various forms such as  filaments, colonies, or coenobia Also, all protists are not microscopic and some species large. For example : brown algal protists possess length of 60 metres (197 feet) or more while some parasitic forms and a free-living algal protists are only 1 μm in length.

Traiits such as motility also varies. While some are completely non motile others are capable of motility by various motile structures such as flagella, cilia, or pseudopodia. Mode of nutrition varies as well.It may be either by photosynthesis, absorption, and ingestion or some of them have both autotrophic and heterotrophic nutrition.
