Why some projects in Saudi fail to be implemented in time

Let me state few are the reasons of project failure in Saudi Arabia, those are as stated below:

  • Most of the project fail due to various conflict, that conflict could be schedule related conflict, resource related conflict, project scope related conflict,
  • Project fails in Saudi Arabia due to issues come from several changes initiation, as changes in scope many a time can be requested by project stakeholders, sponsors, however, frequent changing or not considering the impact of any changes can lead to failure in the project.
  • Further, many times project fail due to non availability of resources, as resources could be physical and human resources both essential for the project, however, getting Labor resources and many other resources, country need to depend on people from other countries, and they need to hire expat people to perform the job, however, the entire process could take time and the process could go hectic and difficult, so, in such situation, project face challenges and get failed
  • Another, strong reason of project failure is communication practices implementation and monitoring the same, as communication takes very big role for any project, here, issues with communication management and stakeholder engagement will bring failure to project.
  • There could be different reasons for any particular project failure, few other reasons like Impact of external factors like political factors, legal and compliances, safety related issues, environmental issues, economical challenges that will bring failure to the project.

- Why Companies delay salary payments to employees?

  • Companies delay salary payments to employees that usually having several reasons like the company could have limited fund, company may face challenges with payment or revenue generation, there could be issues with stakeholder engagement and there could be various communication related issues,
  • Further, both External and Internal factors could make companies unable to pay salary payments to their employees in time, the Internal factors like several changes and resource and schedule related changes occurred within the company, External factors like legal, political barriers that also can contribute to such failure.

- Why the governments sometimes delay payments to contracting companies?

  • As, Processing payments requirement several internal process like validation of the assignment completion, approval of the assignments by sponsor, issues with various contracts and dispute/conflict generation, there could be issues like payment may not be assigned to the party by customers, that also can lead to payments delay to contracting companies. Further, government processes several formalities to ensure that any payment paid to contractor, those are paid in correct format, that means, it should make either of the party in trouble in the coming future, so, the process can be delayed.
