One of the strategies to adapt to the environmental changes is to improve the business intelligence systems, i.e. to pmake the sources which provide wth the latest trends, happenings and develipments taking place in the market, which might culminate into comething that can affect the company's business. These afects can come in form of opportunities which can be realised and taken advantage of  or threats which need to be negotiated to survive. Investing in market intelligence is beneficial for the company and will help it to take the right decisions at the right time. However, while some of the information might be publically available, some of them are confidential in nature, and can be confined to the company resources, and the means of acquiring such information might be questionable, sometimes violating the limit of ethics. It can range from luring some rival company resource to leak those secrets or using others means which border the violation of laws. The results can be bitter competitive rivalry, mudslinging on public platforms or worse, legal proceedings.
