Assume that the Level 1 category is called Software Project, and that the Level 2 categories are Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Con- trolling, and Closing. Under the Executing section, include Level 3 categories of Analysis, Design, Prototyping, Testing, Implementation, and Support. Assume that the Support category includes Level 4 items for Training, Documentation, User Support, and Enhancements. Print the WBS in chart form. Use the outline numbering feature to display the outline numbers, or enter the numbers manually. Notice that Project 2016 uses PMI’s standard numbering scheme. You may want to enter the numbers to ensure that they appear as desired and are displayed in all reports. Microsoft Project does not include automatic numbers in reports. Do not enter any durations or dependencies. See Appendix A or Project 2016’s Help for instructions on creating a WBS. Be sure to display the entire Task Name column on the WSB.
