Answer #1

1. I believe Michael Moore’s documentary appropriately highlighted the Positivities of Canadian Health care system over U S health care system. As the date shows Canada provides universal access to health care for its citizens, while nearly one in five non-elderly Americans is uninsured. For all that, Canada scored better than the U.S. on two commonly cited health outcome measures — infant mortality and life expectancy.

Moore applauds the Canadian Healthcare system with almost deniable defaults. He effectively compares Canadian Health care system with a defunct American system. Michael Moore’s new documentary Sicko celebrates the virtues of Canada’s socialized health care.

He believes his movie will motivate Americans to fix the health-care system. At one point, he asks, plaintively, "Who are we?" He's asking how is it that Americans, as a people, are supporting the current Health care system. Most Canadians have timely access to world-class care for urgent and emergent problems like heart attacks, strokes and cancer care.

If you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you may apply for public health insurance. With it, you don't have to pay for most health-care services. All provinces and territories provide free emergency medical services, even if you don't have a government health card. A 2009 Harris-Decima poll found 82% of Canadians preferred their healthcare system to the one in the United States. A Gallup poll found 25% of Americans are either "very" or "somewhat" satisfied with "the availability of affordable healthcare in the nation", versus 50% of those in the UK and 57% of Canadians. Moore starts suggesting that there are other places where health care works better, for instance, Canada. In his documentary Sicko, Moore shows about Canadian Medicare system. He shows that no one waits in a hospital emergency for more than an hour and everything is free, wherein in American Healthcare system no one can spend a day without buying a private insurance. Moore visited Canada and he is mused about the low crime rates and trustworthy nature. Michael Moore is so impressed with Canadian health care, he's urging Americans to hook up with a Canuck just for the free access.
