FedEx Delivery guarantees delivery of small packages by 10:00 a.m. Some packages do not actually get there before the promised time. For samples of 100 taken each of the last 15 days, the following number of packages were delivered after the deadline: 9,14,2,13,9,5,9,3,1,3,4,3,2,8,4.

  1. Determine the mean proportion of packages delivered after the deadline.   
  2. Determine the control limits for a p-chart
  3. Were any of the sampled days out of control
  4. If 12 packages out of 100 were delivered late today, is the sample within the control limits? Explain
