The thrashing in Crimean War influenced Russia to understand its backwardness. The majestic Russia was in reverse in all perspectives whether it be social, monetary, mechanical or in military progression to its other European partners. After the Crimean War Alexander ll acquainted a few changes with arrangement with these backwardness. The imperative one was evacuation of serfdom which was accepted to be the underlying driver of Russian backwardness. Serfdom made the laborers chip away at the land that had a place with the medieval ruler and the worker never possessed their own territory, this made workers to be under the abuse of their primitive master. However, the nullification of serfdom did not bring the advancement that which was proposed to yet it paved the path for future changes that changed the political, social and financial face of Russia in an intense way.
