Intel Pentium	Intel Core

They are the entry level processors.	These are the advanced processors which have different cores in them and each core performs tasks separately.
The heat dissipation is relatively less.	The architecture is such that is supports better heat dissipation.
Performance is good but not as good as Intel Core.	Its performance is better and the battery life of the laptop is more due to its architecture and better heat dissipation.
It is less efficient.	It is more efficient.
