Today , there are limited pool of available resources to feed our energy needs and so if we want to have sustainable future , we must have to develop sustainable mode of energy resources like solar , wind .

Future power systems will face lack of availability , higher costs as their input raw material like coal is depleting very fast and also they cannot be produced back on earth .

Efficient storage systems must be developed to store the excess energy like solar power generated in summer can be used in monsoon season . This will help to conserve energy and provide continuous need of energy .

Renewable energy systems today lack efficiency and costly to install , so we need to work out with this issue to develop more efficient sustainable energy systems .

Also , microgrids promote distributed generation concept in which a consumer can self meet their major portion of energy demands , thus promoting sustainability of energy needs !!
