Wet lands are of 4 types
1. Pond
It is a well defined basin that is filled with stagnant water and ringed by vegetation. It is fed mainly by rainstorms and snow melt and loses most of its water through seepage and evaporation.
2.Marsh
A marsh usually found near a river, lake or tidal waters. Marshes are subjected to periodic flooding and the water level can be changed drastically in a very short period of time. In drought the marsh may completely dried up. Marshes are overgrown with coarse grasses, sedges and rushes.
3.Swamp
A swamp is essentially a wooded marsh. Unlike marshes Swamps can support trees, tall shrubs herbs and mosses. Swamps are covered with still or gently flowing water during wet seasons
4. Peat Bog
It is a poorly drained area that is covered by mats of moss, which slowly decompose in successive layers and eventually form a material called peat. Peat bogs are of two types Bogs and Fens. The water of bog is much more acidic than that of a fen due to larger quantities of sphagnum moss and the other advanced process of decomposition in a Bog.
By comparing all these features we can identify the type of wetland

1. You are traveling across Australia and encounter an interesting mammal that you have never seen before. Can you write out all formulas as well? Explain like I've never seen the problem before. Two planets are orbiting a star in a distant galaxy. The first has a semi major axis of 150x10^6 km, an eccentricity of 0.20 and a period of 1.0 Earth years. The second has a semimajor axis of 250x10^6 km, an eccentricity of 0.30 and a period of:

could you paraphrase or rewrite this one:
While voting was seen as a big deal to early Americans, we didn't always agree on who deserved this right. When the United States was first founded, it entered a world in which voting was not a widespread concept. In England, only those of privileged wealth and status could vote. The news states of America couldn't quite agree on how they felt about this, so they decided to keep voting rights an...

How could a multiple choice question determine whether students
are clear about the differences or similarities between replication
and transcription?
Write a multiple choice question that gets at similarities or
differences between DNA replication and transcription. In your
responses to other students questions you could choose to make it
more straightforward, or suggest a way to make it more challenging,
or perhaps you could show how a small wording change would lead to
a different answer.
How could a multiple...
