Find the x- and y-components of R = 2A − B if A has components Ax = 17.7 m and Ay = 14.2 m whereas B has components Bx = 20.7 m and By = 8.30 m

R = 2A - B

For X components

R​​​​​​X = 2 A x - B x

R X = 2(17.7) - 20.7

R X = 14.7 m

For Y components

R y =  2 A y  - B y

R y = 2(14.2) - 8.30

R y = 20.10 m

Therefore X component of R = 14.7 m

Y component of R = 20.10 m
