One often hears a CEO say, “Our most important asset walks out the door every night.” In Many organizations rely on the knowledge and skills of its employees for its success. Without its human capital, the company has little to offer its customers. As a part of your review of your company’s HRM systems, you will need to examine the critical areas of training, performance management, and career management.

For each of the areas of training, performance management, and career management:

  • Identify at least three approaches or trends that relate to each of the three HRM areas within a psychiatric hospital. Provide a brief description and a note on the potential relevance of the approach and trend for each area.
  • Choose one of the approaches or trends to discuss in more detail and analyze and discuss the relevance to your organization situation. Justify your answer with appropriate examples and reasoning.

3 approaches as well as trends, which are related to all 3 HRM areas, have been the human relations, the organization theory as well as the decision areas. Human relations encompass the matters like the individual motivation, the leadership & the group relationships. Organization theory has been referred to the job design, the managerial control, as well as work flow by company. Decision fields encompass the interests associated towards the acquisition, the development, the compensation & maintenance of the HRs. However technique as well as degree towards that these fields of interest have handled differ within various HRM departments, some general rules feature responsibilities, positioning as well as structure of many HRM divisions. Structure of HRM departments varies as per kind as well as size of company that it serves. However several companies (which include the governments, the institutions, the manufacturing companies & the service firms organize the HRM employee development functions around several clusters of workershey conduct recruiting, administrative as well as rest of the duties in the central location. Several employee development groups for every department have been compulsory towards training & developing the employees in the specialized areas, like the sales, the engineering, marketing & executive education. In comparison, few HRM departments have been totally independent & have been organized purely through function. Similar training department, for instance, serves all the divisions of company.
