The collection of improperly folded protein aggregates are called as amyloid deposits. They are insoluble and form long linear or fibrillar aggregates.

Heat is considered as one of the easiest ways to disrupt or break the hydrophobic bonds present In a protein. At higher temperatures the hydrophobic interactions denature.

Addition of alcohol to a protein helps to disrupt the protein. Alcohol disrupts the Hydrogen bond present between amide groups.
