2. How is it related to your major/career?

Please keep in mind that you should pick a word that is not common knowledge to people who not in your field. For example, if I am in IT, I would not define a program or a virus. Most people, even non-IT majors, know what those terms mean (and, yes, you could argue that they don't *really* know what it means--but I want you to pick a word that is totally new to most people). An essential part of this assignment is taking a word that is hard to understand and explain it an easy-to-understand way. If the word is well-known, it's hard to really test if you are doing that effectively.

a) The term I want to define is the containerization of the application in a Kuberenetes Cluster.

b) Yes, the Kubernetes is a hot cake in the market and it has really gives a good career opportunity particularly those who belongs to the Devops background. This containerization has taken over physical machines and VMs. And thus this is considered as a niche technology in today's world.

c) The containerization of the application is actually an wonderful concept of bringing and hosting the application in a containerized platform. The whole application can be run on a container of very small size. Moreover, the scalability this technology provides is huge as you can run many containers of the same application. Moreover, due to its fault tolerant and high availability, it is being widely preferred these days as the application hosting platform. If one container goes down, instantly another container will take its place and thus maintains a high availability environment and ensures clients business continuity. Kubernetes cluster is the cluster of nodes machine where you can run the containers for the application. The Kubernetes cluster is developed by Google and then Google shares its to the open source community. Later open source community modified it according to the requirement and organization are adapting this technology to run their application.
