First of all, the Project GLOBE was developed and extended on Hofstede's analysis as it involves a number of cultural activities study together and then it has some effect on the selection of the variables by the individuals in order to evaluate the 9 societal scales share labels which fall under Hofstede's analysis.
Secondly, the fundamental cultural aspects were introduced by the project GLOBE at the organizational and societal level, for instance, institutional and in-group collectivism and the new aspect which was eared in its performance-orientation.
The unique contributions of project GLOBE are as below=
It was mainly promoted to have the overall increment in the present knowledge which is important to cross-cultural interactions and thus it results in improved organizational effectiveness.
In the case of project GLOBE, there was a development of 9 fundamental cultural aspects which included both the actual practices in the society
The focus of the project GOAL was on to define its respective and individual aspect so that it holds the face validity so that it can represent the psychological sense

Individualism and collectivism
It is the feeling and strength of the unity and binding which is shared by the people of a society and thus the citizens of the USA are needed to be loyal towards the group of which they are the primary members and in return to this loyalty of the member, the groups will be protecting the interest of its members and try to promote the wellbeing of all of its members. The focus of the USA is more on individualism while China values collectivism
Masculinity and femininity
This can be seen as how well the responsibilities and duties are distributed between men and women in a certain society. In comparison to the women, the duties and responsibilities of males are more and they are expected to perform the role of protector and bread earner and therefore, it is important for the citizens of the United States to have the feelings and learn the value of healthy competition and winning this competition as a part of the team from a very young age. The culture of the USA seems to be more masculine than that of China
Uncertainty Avoidance Index
It is quite important that the citizens should be ready and mentally prepared to employ risky behavior accurately so that the confusion and ambiguities can be avoided and failures can be prevented. Chinese take the safer way of doing things than the USA citizens
Pragmatic and normative
This can be seen as the level by which a certain person is required to provide the information related to the inexplicable and how well he is associated and connected to religiosity and nationalism and therefore it is required to individuals to be pragmatic, long term oriented, modest and extra thrifty.
