Formulate a SQL query: In the course table, remove all courses that do not have any corresponding course section.

The database contains a 'course' table and a 'section' table. The 'section' table contains a foreign key called 'course_id', and 'course_id' is a primary key on the 'course' table.

According to the question, we have two tables namely course and section. Hence the query will be :

DELETE * FROM COURSE WHERE COURSE.COURSEID NOT IN (SELECT SECTION.COURSEID FROM SECTION)

SELECT SECTION.COURSEID FROM SECTION will return all the course IDs from section table.

DELETE * FROM COURSE WHERE COURSE.COURSEID NOT IN () will delete the tuple from course table which are not in section table.
