I need help writing an essay describing and giving examples of a long term effects on boomerangers of moving back in with their parents. How will there lives be affected?

In western cultures, boomerang generation refers to the young adults of the 21st century, who move back to their parents home after graduating from school or college. Today, the percentage of boomerangers have increased to about 17%, whereas it was only 9% in 1960. When young adults move back to their parents home after graduating, it is helpful for them to save the rent that they would otherwise pay for staying in a separate house. This savings could be used for paying off their educational loan debts or used for their living when if they have not yet started to work.

But there are certain disadvantages that these young adults must face in the long term. They are:

* The young adults will develop a financial dependence on their parents and this will make them less driven to work by themselves and be independent on their own. For example, Mike is staying with his parents, and he is given pocket money for his expenses so he does not have any necessity to work and earn by himself.

* They will not have privacy in having a separate space for themselves, as they are sharing their home with their parents and siblings. For example, Mike is passionate about music, but he cannot practice it in his parent's house as they tell him that it is too loud and disturbing for them. So, he cannot pursue what he wants to.

* The parents of these adults will always be monitoring on their behaviors and be advising them as what to do and what not to do, so they cannot be fully independent and do what they want. For example, If Mike gets back to home late at night, his parents always advise him to get back on time.

* Clash of opinions about several issues regarding the households might arise because the way the young adults perceive about life and living will be different from that of their parents due to generation gap. For example, Mike wants to party with his friends, but his parents tell him not to because it is unnecessary.

* The friends circle of these adults might have a negative opinion about them because they think that these individuals lack the ability of being independent. For example, Mike friends tease him and make fun of him by calling him a baby as he still lives with his parents.

* Getting into romantic relationships, having boyfriend or girlfriend who can live in with these adults will be not possible because their parents would not allow it. For example, Mike has a girlfriend and wants to have a live-in relationship with her, but he cannot do it in his parent's house.

* Such adults are protected by their parents, so they may not have the chances to experiences the hard situations in life that will teach them life lessons and in the long term, they will become incapable of facing the difficult situations by themselves. For example, Mike finds it difficult to face rejections or criticisms from others.

* These adults may not actually feel like they are adults because, they are always treated as a child by their parents. For example, Mike's parents still tell him what to wear, what we eat, when to come home, so Mike feels that he is treated like child and unable to do what he likes.
