The neural tube develops from the neural plate that initially folds upwards and inwards,then the groove is formed which eva-ginates. Lips of the neural folds moves towards each other and a bulging structure is formed outward known as Optic Vesicle.the neural tube is then pinched of after lip sealing.Then the fore-brain starts growing upwards and the vesicle grows outwards.
