Are unions good or bad for USA, economically/socially?

Union meas organization of labor or workers which work is to protect members interest and to improve there wages , hours and working conditions.

Unions are good because it raises the wages for all workers and the increase the level of working conditions for them so ultimately is the workers were happy and satisfied then automatically economy will grow faster then before .

Union are equally socially important because labors are the only one who led the labor movement to stop child labor and make alot of efforts towards their healthcare which make the large impact on society
