No, it is not right to impose Western ethics on any other culture as every culture has their own value. Every culture have thousands of people attached with it who have belief in that system and follows it. Even West countries does not follow any specific culture, people living there have the freedom to choose any culture and follow it. It should not be imposed but everyone must have the freedom to choose religion of their will.
If i tell you the reason why people follow Western religion that they have the most advanced culture which invites many people towards it where people some openness in society regarding the thought of others and people are less affected by what others think.
