Industrial hygiene field is more concerned about the cleanliness and pollution free surroundings maintained in the organization where as safety engineering field is about maintaining safety measures for the employees working so that they will not get hurt . Industrial hygiene is more important for pollution free environment whereas safety engineering is for health safety of the workers. Many professionals only care about health and protection of people working in the industry but do not bother about the environment and hence don't know more about industrial hygiene field.
